How work will change, how it will be carried out and how workers will be organised. It also focuses on how the new technologies will change the way that Human resource management will change as the nature of work and society transforms in to alternative paths.</p> <p>A mixture of social, economic and technological changes will transform the concept of work over the next few years. These upheavals will be similar to those that happened at the time of the Industrial revolution. No can know exactly what will happen. It is possible to develop alternative futures. From these scenarios alternative plans can be drawn up. The development of alternative futures and plans are important tools for both individuals and organisations. Without them individuals and companies stumble blindly in to the future. Rather they should be mapping the future to take advantage of the many probable opportunities and lessen the inevitable evils that will arise.
